Ram 2500 question

What does this neutral button do....cant find anything in the manual about it....no light comes on...nothing

It puts it in neutral

It puts the transfer case in neutral so the vehicle can be towed without tearing up the drivetrain.

Transmission must be in neutral and foot on brake to put transfer case in neutral.

What would I use it for....push the button and then switch to low or high?
