Coolers came in and overall the quality, fit and finish look outstanding to me. Some nice features and robust hardware. Very well made from the looks and feel. They are heavy as I would expect.
Lid gaskets are refrigerator type set in a grove for a positive seal. I am pleased with what I got. No doubt they will hold ice and whatever for a long time.
Just FYI. Those exact coolers are at Buc-ee’s under the Yukon name. Prices were about the same. I don’t remember exact price I paid now. Bought a 65 for myself, 110 for son and 20 round bucket one for daughter last year. Happened to see them this weekend and they are rebadged with YKO instead of Yukon but same cooler. Didn’t even look at price though. Been happy with mine.
Icehole is proud to offer American-made, built-to-last-forever hard coolers, soft coolers, and a whole new line of drinkware made of stainless steel with a thick layer of powder coating color baked on to keep your Icehole looking fresh. Whatever you're drinking, be sure to keep it your Icehole.
Looks exactly like the Yukon coolers from Bucees, I mean EXACTLY like them.
The 110qt was priced at $269 at Buccees when I went through there today. Im in the market and will probably buy a couple of them. The buyer happened to be in the store today and said the stores were not expecting anymore for another week or so. They only carry the 110 in a charcoal color so no choice on that.
I think I met the guy that owns Icehole coolers. He is on TBH. I gave him some 4 wheeler tires/rims. We met in centerpoint. He was in conception stage I think at the time. Nice guy.
I have Taiga, nICE and Rtic, all pretty much the same. I saw an ad for BlueCoolers, they cut them open and had more insulation than the big brands at a much lower price.
From what I’ve seen all of those fancy coolers are made pretty much the same and perform pretty close to each other. Yes I drank the Yeti cool aid when they first came out but haven’t bought another one since. Can’t tell a difference from one to another.
