Well they do call it a "Ranch" so it has to be at least 12 acres.

50 acres, but “it hunts like 500.”

(Que Price is Right music) Sidro!! Come on down! You're the next contestant on the "Price is way to high for that lease"!!
                Actual size is 145 acres.
We made site visit and met the apparent land owner. I say apparent bc he seemed to not know as much as we thought a land owner might. The worst part is when we pull up there were several cows hanging out at the camp site. The camper was garbage and no way sleeps 5. The feeders were all on the ground with parts spread about the feed pen and fences were broken down to 1-2' high. Saw lots of cow tracks and manure. A few deer tracts were seen and a few old rubs as far as we could tell. High fenced by neighbor on one side and large lot residential on the other. Land owner said he shot a nice Sitka buck when he used to hunt...20-years ago. Asked about previous hunters and he said they opted out bc he decided to up the price. It looked like half of the property was infected with Oak wilt which isn't good.
I'd say it was false advertising on his part but not sure he knew any better.
Needless to say our search continues but it was at least a nice day outdoors.

Maybe you shouldn’t look for a deer lease on Craig’s list

The one last year in Harper was so crazy that I took the time to contact the guy. He never answered any of my emails. I had asked him if it was a typo or if that was the sale price instead of the lease price. AS a land owner I respect the right of people to price their stuff where ever they want but his was so far out there that it made no sense at all.
