Had a couple approach me at a gas station driving a beat up suv packed to the ceiling with junk. Story was they were on their way to Louisiana and were stranded with no money and no gas.. I gave them $20 worth of gas and just trusted they were being honest. About 6 weeks later I was at the same gas station and what do you know, same couple approached me, with the same story, I played along for a minute, asked how long they had been stranded and he said a couple days and at that point I got ****** and called them out on everything. Couldn’t believe it but the man was arguing with me telling me I had them mixed up with someone and I was 100 percent sure I did not. I told him to shove it and get out of my face. Haven’t helped out anyone since then other than go fund me’s for people I know or know of their situation.
