AWP came out Thursday and replaced all 20 windows in one day and they look great!

I couldn’t be happier with the windows and the install job!

Years ago we bought gulf coast. Definitely expensive but never regretted the installation or performance.

            Bringing this back up.

Anyone recommend a company near corpus? I called window world and got the run around 2 times in a row.

Jimmy is a great fellow. His son in law is on this site. He beat window world's price big time. They start my house Monday. 23 windows - $12K
Price is based on normal size or specialty sizes. He uses a Texas company to assemble for him.
Found out something interesting. If a burgler throws a brick through the glass it sounds like a 12 guage shotgun blast and numerous neighbors will call the cops on you for shooting in your back yard. Lol. They also say up to 30% savings on electricity. We took the 24 month no interest deal........

Tagged. About to pull the string on replacement windows in our house in Beeville.
Has anyone actually used Window World? Had a salesman come out & I liked their windows & waranty. Quote was a little south of $14k for 22 windows. 2 story house with 5 large windows, 2 arched windows, 2 small bathroom windows & the rest medium sized. Waiting to get quote from local contractor.

Is this a good deal considering other bids? Why did you go with him over others? I’m thinking about this pretty soon.

I had 3 quotes. Was not looking for cheep. Just someone I thought I could trust in the long haul. We were looking for a good product with a good warranty behind it. They have been around a long time. Texas company with a Texas product. I guess it was a gut feeling. Get quotes and make your own desision.

Did you see the thread on leaf guard. 13k to do your gutters. Are you kidding me? That is highway robbery - but they have to pay for their TV spots.
Safelight glass is the same deal. Twice everyone else price so you can pay for their TV ads.

I am smarter than that / I think..........

Do it yourself. The wife and I did our whole house for ~5k. We even had 2ea. 8’ sliding glass doors, very heavy to say the least. Home Depot want 12k for just the back side of the house. We used Jeldwin that we purchased thru HD. We had to cut the Sheetrock back in ever window, but it was not that bad.

Did my own 18 windows. Some brick some siding 2 story. Not hard at all. Hardest part is measuring and making sure you leave a couple inches around. Bought ours from Westside lumber on 45s.
