    Sig Saur Whiskey 3

Just ordered a Sig Saur Whiskey3 3x9x50 for my 6.5
Who has one and what are the goods and bads. I watched some youtube reviews, but wanted a better hunters perspective.

The Whiskey 3 line is very good glass for the money. I mounted a 3-9X40 (I can't remember) on my AR. I have the illuminated reticle as well. It holds zero and tracks well so I have no complaints.

It's better than a score worth twice as much. Crystal clear glass, hold zero and affordable. Ebay more counts l could you want. I have 4

Great scope for the money. Have the 4x12 hellfire on 300wsm it tracks well and glass is good.

I have 6 of them. IN their price point, they are very hard to beat.

These seem like a good tbh reviewed item. Maybe I need one for $170

My predictive text went all over the place and I didn't proffread. Glad you caught what I was saying lol
In conclusion, they are great scopes and I would gladly get another when it comes time for new glass

I have several also and would buy another. As mentioned already, best scope for the money IMO.

I have a Whiskey 3 3-9X 50. I have it on my 458 SOCOM. So far, I can say it has very good light gathering and seems to hold zero very well. The only complaint I have, is the ring that you change the magnification with, is fairly stiff, takes some effort to turn. Not really a big deal. I have had it on the gun and have been shooting the gun for about six weeks now. I have fired about forty rounds through the gun, it's done pretty good. I did have some problems with the point of impact shifting. After a couple times of shooting the gun, I found the scope rings were loose. I tightened the rings, since then the scope has held zero.

Do they all come with an option to get a custom turret?

                          Anybody have a comparison to:
                          Redfield revolution
                          Leupold freedom / vx3i
                          Nikon prostaff

After doing some research, I bought one on sale during Christmas sales for $150 at Optics Planet. Can't wait to try it out.

Yep, I got mine from Optics Planet, was supposed to be on sale. But now two years later, I looked up the same scope and range finder combo, it's still the same price. I forgot what I paid, but it was not much for both. I like the range finger, much better than the other one I had just bought a year earlier, so the other one got sold. The other range finder was supposed to be a pretty good range finder, don't remember which one it is, but the Sig is definitely a better range finder.
