As I understand it, they are moving Eagles to X to replace Collin. That frees up Whittington to move to WR. He was originally an "athlete" that Texas figured to use as a WR. All the injuries at RB necessitated his move to RB last Spring.

I'm excited to see Epps at TE. He just didn't seem to fit in the receiver role. I really like RJ and appreciate his willingness to step up at RB last season. I truly hope he can get some meaningful reps. There is just too much up and coming talent at QB for him to move back there.

Pretty sure JWhitt was going to be a WR before the RB room got devastated by injury and a stroke victim. They moved him there. Texas has a 2 year starter in Ingram, a surprise in Roschon and a 5 star RB in Bijan Robinson in that room now. He's going to shine wherever he is at.

Whittington was also potentially being moved to RB based on his performance at the position in the state championship game. It was discussed before the injury bug hit.

Epps needs to man up and get physical to be a good TE.
The way he couldnt fight off DBs last year doesnt leave me much hope.
