If there is any wear left on them, some tire shops will actually buy them. When I buy new tires at Discount, I keep the old worn ones and sell them for $5-10 each to tire repair shops. Sometimes they won't buy them but will take them off my hands for free.

Have seen them used in washouts to hold the dirt in place.

They grind it up into chunks and use it in asphalt now, I’m assuming it’s similar to that.

Toss them on a FM road and let the state get them after all you are paying for their services... jk or am I?

In SA residents are charged a environment fee which allows them to dispose of bulky waste to include tires at collection centers around town. Houston have something similar?

My county has clean up days , every so often. They take them for free.

Careful, someone may roll up on you and throw them back in your window. If they do, show them your dead sticker and blow their face off.
