This deer was brought to me mid December. Pics tell the story. The customer did not shoot the deer in the face. After they shot him they found it this way. Deer showed no physical signs of injury.

A few years back a guy on my lease shot one with a broadhead in its eye socket. Was an older injury that was healed over. Tough critters.

With all the dumb bow hunting **** on the net these days it would not surprise me one bit if an idiot took a head shot on purpose. After all, head shots and gut shots and even 80 yard shots on deer and pigs are a thing these days. BUT, I am hoping it was an accident
