Man it’s really a personal thing. I just don’t like plaques on shoulder mounts. I think they “take away” from the mount itself. They make the animal look smaller. And they are very “old school”. I probably haven’t used one in 15 years. And even back then I didn’t like them. But like I said, it’s a personal thing.

And no disrespect was meant on the head and shoulder thing. Some of us just got a chuckle out of it as we have never heard that before.

Yeah, that's all I have ever called them, but Im not a Taxi, so sorry for my ignorance.

My first "big" buck taken with a bow, I put it on a arrowhead plaque, but like you said that's old school. That deer was taken in mid 90s.
