It’s welding. Bead doesn’t matter. If you want to make a living at it the good ones can turn a 1hr job into 6hrs.

Looks ok for structural but need to crank up the heat a little and get some penetration if you want to get a steady welding gig. Don't give up. You have a good start on it.
