dumb question but to have a hide tanned how do they work with the hole from the shot? does shot placement need to change?

Anyone who takes care of furs has to be good w/ a needle and thread for this reason. Small holes can be sewn to where you can't tell from the fur side. Shot placement shouldn't be as big of a deal as the caliber used... smaller holes are easier to sew.

If it's a fairly small hole they won't do anything because you won't be able to tell. The tanning company most likely won't mess with that part of it. I'm guessing if it's blown up bad that'll be on the owner of the pelt to sew it up. That's what my taxidermist told me anyway.

A shotgun is the best thing there is for not tearing critters up.

That's a Big Cat, Great spots don't see them that big and pretty... Wait for the West Texas Big Bobcat tournament and I bet you will be close to biggest if you can qualify.

Big, pretty cat in my opinion! I've shot 3 bobcats in the last 2 years, and none of them were mount worthy. They were all small and drab looking.
