My little boy (5) is chomping at the bit to shoot a deer / pig. He loves being in the stand and has patiently awaited his chance. His older sister has been kind of rubbing it in that she’s already killed several deer this year...nothing like a little friendly sibling competitiveness, right?
Anyhow, we are heading to the lease this weekend and it’s his turn behind the trigger. He shoots quite a bit at short ranges with a scoped 22 and is pretty dang good, but I’m still a little leery about him shooting, 100% on his own, at a deer. This concern is solely based off of his aiming point on the animal, hence me seeking advice on here about the iScope or some other alternative. I’d like to be able to guide him on where to shoot on his first few animals and I think this will completely eliminate my concern.
Now to the question...has used a different option to the iScope, or is this the one to go with?
Not looking to turn this into a debate on whether or not he should even be shooting, so please steer clear of those comments.
Thanks in advance.
