Well, that excitement was short lived.

Tina just got off the phone with the brain doc. The statement at the end of the report that said "no new stuff" referred to the comparison of the MRI done at MD Anderson, 3 weeks ago and the MRI she had on Monday.

In reality, there are 16 new legions that they are going to treat this Tuesday.

All of the previous legions are either gone or are shrinking.

I feel like crap that I'm not going to be here for this round.

Separate problem ... same topic.

A few months ago, my step-mom's sister (I guess she'd be my step aunt) was having some weird issues with dizziness and fatigue. After a few tests, she was given the cancer diagnosis. Lungs, liver, brain and bones.

From the get go, she was very down and basically gave up.

She died at 11:30 this morning.

She'd been a total witch to us since my step mom died, so we weren't on good terms.
I'll still say a prayer for her soul.

Praying for the Lords healing hand on Tina in claiming victory over those lesions. I pray your faith remains strong and you find peace and comfort in knowing the promise of our Lord.
I pray for your step aunts soul that it found refuge in our savior in her final moments and that you find peace in the difficult relationship you had with her. Your prayers for her will bring you that peace.
