I bought a couple pair of merino socks from scent-lock last year with the promo code that leaked. Best socks I’ve ever had. My feet are the exact same way, always clammy. These socks leave your feet feeling like you just put your boots on, even hours later.

      Merino is a winner.
Costco sells some big merino socks that are awesome.
I prefer them over my firstlite socks.

As someone else who has perpetually sweaty feet, the sock didn't matter as much as keeping the sweat to a minimum. I've moved to using Carpe or Sweat Block on my feet during hunting season, which will help quite a bit with the moisture. That said, the Merino Wool socks will still insulate even when wet, but when used in conjunction with a good antiperspirant you'll find a huge difference.

looks like the question has already been answered several times but this is what works for me:

if you're feet are cramped from tight boots or too much sock, then you're feet will never be warm in cold weather. I always go with just one synthetic layer and insulated boots, feet have stayed warm ever since. Feet have a little room left without heel slipping up and down and they're comfortable.

Along these lines, if you put multiple pairs of socks on you're making things worse. Wearing multiple pairs of socks or thick socks in your regular boots you will have cold feet due to cutting off circulation. You need a pair of boots that have some room for a thicker pair of socks. For really cold days I have boots that are a half or 1 size larger than what I normally wear so I can wear some heavier socks without cutting off circulation. Since I do that I by insulated boots and just wear the thin army surplus wool socks. Just no way to have all weather gear from 90 degrees to 10 degrees.

Spray feet the night before with unscented spray anti perspirant, thin wool socks and boots without too much insulation that are slightly oversized which will allow air to your feet. This will keep feet from sweating too much. Get some Arctic shield boot warmers and put a large handwarmer in them. Slip these on when you get to your stand. This works for me down to high single digits or low teens.

A savvy duck hunter told me to use seal skinz at bass pro. I bought em but aint tried em yet. This guy I met in there swore by em.

I bought the attic shield boot covers this year on sale. But I haven’t had to use them yet
Those boots covers are awesome ! My feet are freezing at 50
Degrees so I wear them all the time if it is in the twenties outside
                    I add some toes warmers

Merino Wool Darn Toughs are the best I own. I also have Lorpen and Smartwool that I like. I almost always wear two pairs of socks either liner socks and regulars or two pairs or regulars. I don't have any really heavy socks so that I can layer.

I use heat holders socks. If I have a long walk, I’ll change socks when I get to my stand. Also, as others have said, the arctic shield boot covers are great also.

The answer to your problem exists and has probably been posted already but I didn’t read every response. Wear a pair of dress socks under a pair of wool socks. If you don’t own dress socks, buy some, or buy whatever thin silk(ish) sock u can find.

Dress socks, wool socks, and baby powder to help absorb water. Has worked for me many years.
