I don’t know what is required to be a deer aging expert but in my book that is an old management buck that should go.
He is too old to only be sporting only 8 Pts
I’m no expert but I don’t see anything about this buck that says post mature. Face and neck are skinny, brisket shows no sagging or development yet, back is straight, tarsals aren’t stained, belly is well defined all the way through. Based on what I see I lean more to a buck turning 4 this summer. I know some post mature bucks start to look young again but don’t see it here.
