Sat a few times this year with my 9 and 3 years old boys and realized that I have more fun in the stand with them than I have ever had alone. that's what it is all about.

I first took my daughter at about 4. She couldn’t sit still very long. Next year I bought a hub blind. Put in a mr. heater and she brought coloring books and Barbie. We lasted about 3 hours. Next year we went again ( sans barbie) for about 3 1/2 hours before she got restless. Then a doe came up and stuck her nose in the window. I don’t know who jumped the most but I was rolling on the ground laughing. She was so excited after that. Been going with me every year , killed a few does but no buck yet . She wants one as big as dads on the wall. High hopes but dedicated. Next year she goes solo in a blind. I will be about 100 yards away to keep an eye on her.
Took her on her first ram hunt 2 years ago and she smoked him with one well placed shot. She is hooked and I cant be more proud. Memories like that are priceless. Don’t let them slip away. You are doing a good job of raising him. Keep up the good work

Nice. I took mine today. He was a little hesitant to go after camping last night, but he did go and lasted about an hour.
