Just loaded up and heading west for my last hunt of the season. Quick trip and heading home tomorrow after evening hunt. Hopefully a couple does in the cooler and a buck for my dad. I’m on for patrol unless a certain target bucks happens to show

Well my target buck that’s been on the list since last year finally showed up this morning. Always had him on camera but never saw him in person till this morning. He’s piled up now, ldp to come. Waiting on some old does to show up

Went this weekend for one last time. Between us all we got two does and two bucks, nothing special except that two of them were the hunters’ first deer. Did a lot of trash cleanup, moved a pickup truck that had been in place since 1990, and ran a few traps. Also found a good 4 year old that had caught itself on some wire and died.




First time I’ve set foot holds in 12 years or so. Caught this cat plus a couple possums and a Coon in 4 sets.
