I need help on choosing a rifle scope

Can’t decide between vortex viper HS
4-16x44 or 6-24x50
Or
Vortex diamondback tactical
4-16x44 or 6-24x50

Scope will be going on a savage axis 6.5 creedmoor. I want to be able to shoot out to 500 yards and maybe eventually down the road farther out. Never really shot a gun past 200 yards so not sure what I’ll need. Gun will be used for hunting as well as target shooting mainly longer ranges.

I would go with the viper, but also say look at the strike eagle. I have the 3-18x44 and really like it.

I have no complaints about the Viper 6-24x50 HST mounted on my Bergara Ridge 6.5CM.

I'd go viper in whatever power and objective is best for your type of shooting / hunting.

I also have the 6-24*50 Vortex.

I like it a lot. Bought it to fill the same role as your looking for.
