many moons ago, my brother caught a 40# ling on a zebco 202! Was funny as heck! Didn't slip the drag or break the rod either!

We hit East Matty last Tuesday morning thinking we'd slay them ahead of the front, but didn't have much luck. We'll be back on the water Friday morning to give it another shot.

I would try the old piers in the Lydia Ann channel. Lots of black drum too.

2020 Saltwater Fishing Thread

Went out Saturday to Chocolate Bayou with the boy, picked up a few dinks but nothing worth writing about. Not much water, crazy windy, cold.

Ended up calling it early and going to Hooters. Much more fun.
