2020 Saltwater Fishing Thread

Today was another good day of fishing. Here is about how it went.

On the way to the fishing.


Catching (and releasing) some nice trout.



And we ended up with a nice pile of fish. My group limited out on trout by 9:00.


Ate some lunch and headed back out. Popped a nice trout on the very first cast. She measured 28".


Ended up catching 10 trout on the first drift.


A perfect ending to a great day.

Way to go Brent. Down here in Florida waiting on a window. They have some tight spec regulations here. 3 between 15 and 19 inches

Ran out of Gamblers last night, slapped on a freakin chicken boy and got two of these.

Thats awesome congrats! I have caught one Texas snook and it was about a 1/4 of the size of yours! Lol

Fished Surfside yesterday from the beach. Had one good run with about a 4-5’ shark that ended up breaking off. Then nothing, ended with one small blacktip about 18”.

I would suspect a big bull tide. Matagorda beach is virtually not drivable now.

Wife and I got into the trout and flounder this morning almost had a 2 man limit before we noticed the boy was drifting away!

Lost a few flounder and caught tons of trout. Great wade back in the boat by 10am.
