I just got told I need to book a guide out of aransas pass for my wife, 10 yr old grandson and me. Any suggestions from the gs would be appreciated.

Rhett Price in Rockport. There are tons of guides down there and I really don't know many of them. Lots of the ones I once knew aren't in the business anymore. Rhett has been around a long time. I think I met him over 20 years ago at an outdoor writers event. Good guy.

The La Pesca out of Dolphin Docks in Port A had a private charter cancel for June 6. Boat leaves the dock about 4 on the 6th and should return around the same time. That is the opener for federal snapper. It's a 24hr trip so you can snag double limits and I am sure the Capt will target other species too (I know wahoo for certain). Due to this virus deal, they can't run a full boat so there should be extra elbow room.

Finally I think I'm functional! One of the trim caps leaking a bit. But I can add trim fluid if it needs it until I get new cap dust seals. Let's go Big Lake!

He is a fishing fool! He helped me out when I was just getting started chasing the trout on Sabine. I've only fished with him in the same boat maybe 2 or 3 times, but we've fished the same water from different boats quite a few times.

Most of it has never been wet.
