Anyone fished the Rockport area lately?

We pretty much just sight cast reds this time of year and are catching most over scattered shell, my usual grass/pothole spots are not producing right now at least for me anyway. Has also been a little later bite for us, didn't have a bite until about 8:40 this morning. Have heard trout on croaker is heating up.

4 man limit of trout and released 2 big reds yesterday evening. Bite turned on fire a little before dark

27” and just a tad under 7 lbs. caught and successfully released this fish yesterday evening. I was catching some big reds and she was fighting just like a big redfish. She got close to me and didn’t come to the top until she was about 2 feet from me. Boy did my adrenaline start pumping then lol
