Another good weekend at the AJRA rodeos in San Antonio. Won 2nd in the barrels both days, won the optional 16-19 Breakaway Sat and 3rd in the Breakaway today. In the last 15 runs Riley and Gator have only hit 2 barrels and placed or won 11 out of those. This team his firing on all cylinders. Good thing to have heading into the Jr World Championship in Tulsa in a couple of weeks.

Been late to report. Millie did the Blanco point race this fall (the one Will helps run). In the second rodeo, she had 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and 4th. Last weekend was the final race and she & Stormy full on blew it. Very humbling for her - a good lesson. She finished the series in 5th, but was happy as a lark to bring home some bling. Sarah Rigby was 3rd, I believe. Good times!

Riley and Gator this week are competing at the Vegas Tuffest jr World Championship in Tulsa. Currently sitting 10th out of 89. Today her and Gator ran 14.2 in the Open Lucky Lotto for the Ram truck, currently sitting 4th. Improved on her first run of 14.428. Tomorrow will be a big day. I know they can break the 14 second mark.. running with confidence. Need another solid run to make it to the championship round on Monday. Proud of this team.
My niece punched her ticket to Monday’s 12 and under Championship round in the 14th slot. Proud of both of them

We are wrapping up the crazy 2020 yr. For all the TBH kids y’all did great and so proud of all of you. Every dang one of all got better. One thing to take away and always remember “ don’t let your highs get to high and your lows get to low. Every run/ride is just that.. leave it in the arena and get ready for the next one”. Also hang out with the winners, surround yourself with those that cheer for you and not against you. But more importantly is to believe in yourself and that you belong. Once you do that amazing things will happen. Go be great in 2021.. let’s keep making great things happen!!

Abbey has a horse down at the moment so trying to get another one ready for the junior highs if the horse is still on the mend.
Hunter is getting stronger and throwing excellent loops. The horse upgrade that we got him as helped him in his roping for sure.
Looking forward to a great 2021 rodeo year.
