I’ll get to hunt 5 days this season with my CVA Optima Magnum.
Last season I finally got a buck behind my house on the last day of season with it! Hoping to repeat this year since I got skunked with my bow.

          Last years buck

This years target, same stand. I was watching him through my binos @ 15 yards waiting on daylight when this pic was snapped.

I picked up a CVA inline last week on the cheap at my local pawnshop. I have had a heck of a time finding loading components around me. I found some powder and primers at Attwoods, but I am still on the hunt for bullets. From What I have read up I want to shoot the powerbelt bullets instead of the sabots that leave plastic in the barrel of the gun. Hopefully I get a chance to go to BPS soon to see what they have. As others have said, I have not got a chance at a doe and its time to put some meat on the table.

BPS in Round Rock doesn't carry anything for muzzleloader. Hope they don't ever close Cabela's in Buda.
