Over the last 5 years I’ve seen three different axis bucks ran over within a half a mile of Zephyr Tx. Anybody know where they come from? There’s one dead now as soon as you enter town from the south.

Interesting they were “free-ranging”..
I saw the zebras there Friday, but no other exotics.

My mom is from Big Z. I spent most my summers at my grandma's there. They owned 40 acres including the hill just East of town that know has a big cell tower on it. The zebras were on the north end of town and were there for a long time. There are several high fence places around now. Maybe they got lost somehow?Comment
