    Lake LBJ / Kingsland question

Anyone know what the clearance is of the FM 1431 bridge on the Colorado River on Lake JBJ at Kingsland TX? From the water to the bottom of bridge? We are looking at renting a house on the water between this bridge and the dam at Inks lake and want to make sure my boat with T top can go under the bridge to the main body of water on lake LBJ.

Is that the one that washed out last year?

We've gone under all the bridges with wake towers and a pontoon and never had clearance problems. There is one a that is narrow but not bad.

No 2900 was the one that washed out. It’s huge now, I think you could drive a tuna tower under that one. But I just can’t remember the clearance of this other bridge.

Thats not the one that washed out. There is two bridges there, but you should be on both.

Thats the old bridge by the Wakepoint place and it has a lot of clearance (not sure on an exact number but work barges and daily boat traffic have no issues).

I don’t know the height but I’ve had my buddies bay boat with t-top under it with plenty of room.

I know the bridge. Don’t know the clearance, but LCRA does. May be posted somewhere?

There’s plenty of room to go under that bridge. Tons of wake board boats and t-top boats go under that bridge.

You should have plenty room for a regular T-top.
