    Can-am Defender Crew

What size trailer do you need to haul this machine? Pics of your setup?

I have a 16’ pipe trailer I use but a 14’ would be fine. Ranch king makes a great one for it

When i first got my Defender crew i loaded it up backwards on a 12' trailer that had a ramp. It had zero wiggle room. 14' wold work but i ended up going with a 16'.

I haul mine on a 12’ tandem axle. Don’t use a ramp or ramps. They just add more drag. 4 Lo locked crawls right up without issue. I put a 3-5k miles a year on this setup. The rest of the time it gets hauled on a 24’ Gooseneck with a Can Am Commander Max. That’s pushing it though on length, but is doable.

14’ is what I use with mine. Not much room for anything else.

I use a 12’. It fits but it takes all of it

That 14' Ranch King looks just right

I would really look at what you might need long term. I have had several folks buy 14's and then want to trade it on a 16' for more room. I would want the extra footage so it is easier to get the load balanced right when hauling gear, bags of feed etc. Diamond C make a real nice trailer with a very user friendly bifold gate, tie down bars etc.

I'd go 16 as well. I pull a ranger cree and a xps on a 12ft. Have used a 14ft, but the 16 is great. Nice to put extra stuff in the trailer.

                        IMO

                        14’ minimum length
                        16’ would be my recommendation

that's the one I was referring to.

                          about tailor made for it.

I pull a few small tractors so a 16' tandem axle is why I went with what I did
