Stay motivated. I’m having the same feeling lately. Hard to get up and get moving in the morning when crap keeps happening. I just keep telling myself i can’t make it happen if I’m not in the field.

It's has been hard for me to get motivated for this last few weeks of season. I haven't seen a deer while hunting since early November. I haven't seen a buck all year. I'm covered up with hogs and haven't even seen a hogs. I even slept in this morning, but I'm in the stand now and will give it another try next weekend

Nothing shooter wise on camera for the last 6 weeks and not needing to take a deer, I have called it quits for 2019. Never saw a pig (really strange) at a feeder while I was sitting, so I never drew my bow the entire season. No regrets.
Not sure what I will do next year as right now I am only 1 1/2 hours away but after retiring in May and moving back to Central Texas it will be a little over 4 hours from this lease. Time will tell.
Some things happened the last couple of weeks that took my desire to hunt away, but hopefully things turn around.

Yes SanSaba is tough hunting this year. Have to get off the feeders and hope you picked the right trail.

Really that's all I can say is really. I just hope that you are kidding.

I’m in my stand for the last hunt of my Season. Been hunting San Saba County for 14 years. Corn piled up under the feeders, and for the 1st time since 2008 I have a .270 in the blind. Just want a doe. If it doesn’t happen this evening, I’ll be disappointed but not mad.

Hell with as few deer shot this year, next year may be Great.

I just dragged the Pyrodex, etc out of the cabinet tonight and will head to the range tomorrow to check zero and loads. Nothing but antlerless and non-AR bucks showing and I owe my landowner his annual deer. Antlerless are legal here during the ML season so I'll try and take advantage of that.
