Looking for a vehicle for new driver

Guys, my 15 year old will be turning 16 in February. He worked for me building fences this summer and probably has $3-3500 saved to spend on a vehicle. He'd like a truck, but honestly isn't picky and will drive whatever. Obviously I'd like him to have something dependable. Anybody out there have a vehicle that fits that bill they'd be willing to part with?

I'll have a 2010 dodge charger V6 with 89,500 miles for sale in about a week. It runs good. I'll be asking 4,500 for it.

My sister lives in San Angelo. She has a '92 Xtra Cab 4x4 Toyota she bought new. IIRC, the clutch went out on it a few years ago and it is sitting in her garage or driveway. It would need a clutch and a fluid flush, tank cleaning, ect. Would you like me to check on it?
