Tony G. Still with Moritz Chevy?

About to trade in my wife's car and shes really eyeing a couple rides including the new Chevy Blazer.

Is Tony still with Moritz or do I remember he switched recently? For those that have worked with him how much did you save from the online price if you remember? About to do a search but if anyone has his number that would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Edit: Also would be driving all the way from Houston so making sure its worth the drive.

I tried him first but he was not helpful. He would not give me a straight answer on price of his vehicle. He only wanted me to give him the price I was quoted at another dealership for him to beat it. Typical car salesman tactics. Your experience may vary.

I did well using Autonation Chevrolet on the Gulf Freeway. It was a bit of a drive but it was worth it to me. I got this tip from another TBH'er. They seem to make money selling cars in volume rather than trying to make a profit on every individual car. At least that is my understanding.

I was able to buy a new Trail Boss from them at a price no one could beat. It was a very easy experience as well. We would have bought my wife's new Traverse from them as well but she wanted the blacked out model that Autonation didn't have.

First, find the car you want from them online then, call and ask for a sales manager. They will offer a better price than online when pushed. They will send you the written price in an email that you can shop around at other dealerships. I would be surprised if other dealerships can beat their discount. Good luck.

You are welcome. If you have time, you might try hard to buy in the next few days. Conventional wisdom says dealers may be pressed to meet year end quotas.

As for trade in, I did well by getting a quote from CarMax. But keep it in your back pocket. Then, contact givemethevin. They will negotiate and you may be able to get them to beat CarMax without revealing your CarMax offer. If not, give them the CM offer and they say they'll beat it. Then, take their offer to the dealer and tell them you need at least this much for your trade. Autonation had no problem giving me that price once I revealed it and said the deal depended on them matching it.
