      Ferret.
Handle them every day and they will be great. Had 4 at onetime. My oldest male, I had to fight the wife for in divorce court. He came to live with me and did til he got cancer. He would come to a whistle and would start hitting the bed when my alarm went off and didn’t get up. Would drink beer or whiskey if you left a glass down and he could reach it.
They are fun to mess with. Been thinking about getting another one lately.

We have some kind of ground squirrel. She is cool . If we didn’t have her it would of been a Prairie dog.

Notice that they typed goatS. Herd critters, gptta have at least 2. We have nigerian dwarfs (5) and they are really neat. Stay away from a billy, unless you want more, man do they smell!

This is my vote.. don't have to feed it or worry about it when you go on vacation.. they don't multiply and no vet bill..

X2 on the bearded dragon. Hedgehogs would be a close second. Both are pretty low maintenance.

We had a blind ferret in my high school science class. That thing was crazy smart and fun to mess with.

We have a bunch of fish in two aquariums but they aren't something you can play with and are quite a bit of work if you take care of them correctly. Growing up our neighbor had a house with 350 snakes. Both his wives were attacked at some point by them though so.....caution.

Get them a ferret and take them all rabbit hunting.

I always wanted a ferret. Make sure that you remove the scent glands and they wont stink any more than any other animal

I had two friends in school with ferrets. Both of their houses and smelled horrible. I specifically remember that

Leopard gecko, bearded dragon, king snake. My daughter had all three and they were cool. Still has the leopard gecko. That thing has gotta be 10 years old.
