    Bishop broadheads.

Does anyone own or handled any of the Bishop broadheads? Especially interested in the larger 315 grain and the 600 grain single bevel heads. If so please let me know. Thanks for your time.

Glorified VPA s, if you want ( feel the need) to spend 50 times the amount of money on broad heads there great. But I have never had a VPA fail to do it’s intended job and come out unscathed. I have one head that has been through 15 animals( and uncountable shots into targets) , and ready for the next one. The only time I have ever had to replace them is when I loose one. But it’s your money, and they will gladly take it from you. Check out there arrows if you feel the need to part with more money then Necessary. Yes I did feel the need some time back, money I won’t ever get back. Lost them also.

I’ve shot the 315’s before, stupid sharp and held the edge extremely well, flew good as well

Only problem I had with them was the price. But it’s also a buy once cry once kinda thing

Price is high but if they work I am willing to try them. The VPA heads are not single bevel and being a traditional archer i will be using single bevel from here on out. But i do agree vpa makes a great head.

Buy once cry once is definitely something I follow.

Not having access to 600 gains field points might be an issue unless I can fab something together.

Well, call me crazy but I just ordered some of the 600 grain heads from Bishop. Guess I will see how this goes, if I can't get everything straightened out I will probably reduce weight and use the 325g heads. Keep you guys posted.

I have one. (600gr). I have not shot an animal with it. But I have shot it. I’m using it to build FOC. then setting it up to shoot bare shaft with it.

A local machine shop should be able to turn some 600 gr points for you. If not then you’ll have to dedicate a couple arrows and do 300 gr of inserts with 300 gr field points
