I saw on the Texas Big Game Awards that he got biggest lowfence typical in Texas this season. I got 2nd biggest typical for high fence in Texas this season, I'll hopefully get to see Granzins buck at the awards program. Or maybe a replica in each of his stores haha

Awesome buck and story. I have to know how miles was selected to kill this buck? Is there a story there? Seems like he could have been killed by a couple other lease members. Forgive me if it's already been answered and I missed it.

Long story short, when I finally convinced him to join back up w me on my lease, I told him he had first option on the next 7 year old trophy It took longer than I expected, but was well worth the wait. A few of us could have shot that deer, but I’m a man of my word. Meant a whole lot more to me just riding shotgun with him than killing it. He’s a great friend. Not to mention, I’ve got a great group of hunters that are not greedy or selfish.
