OP: Good quote to apply to your job/spouse as a daily affirmation but its not applicable to the holidays where years of tension/ridicule/torment have to play out.

Yeah IDK my wife's parents haven't gotten over anything for 35 years!!! That's why I thought I'd post it up!! Thought maybe I could save some poor soul some grief!!!

Their newest spin is that they quit giving their grandsons Christmas or B-day presents a few years ago because my son's didn't call and thank them for the check they got for Christmas - which was a month late. This while Erica was recovering from a very painful hernia mesh surgery across her entire abdomen from carrying twins with one breech. Good Times!!
