Subscriptions for Hunting/Fishing boxes

Seems like the monthly subscriptions have really taken off. I was thinking about getting my brother one for Christmas, but having never signed up for one, I don't want to get him junk.

Any of y'all had a good experience with one of these box subscriptions?

Kiddo got post fly and lucky tackle box from his granny. They send some good stuff.

I got sportsmans box and have found a use for almost everything Ive got.

I have bowhunter box club, no complaints. Mystery tackle box was good as well when I had it

I've had Mystery & Lucky tackle. I really liked both of them. Would still have them if I hadn't cancelled that particular card. Just never renewed them afterwards.
It was always good stuff, and something new to throw.

My son in-law had on with 6th sense lures. Don’t know if he still does or not but he got some good stuff he used to show me

I did lucky tackle box for awhile. They are good. But **** they come quick. Sometimes double ship. I got more lucky tackle boxes than I know what to do with. Lol. I’m giving them as gifts at Christmas.

Im interested as well. Ive watched some youtube unboxings and from what I can tell Barrel and Blade seems to have pretty solid stuff even though its somewhat "tactical". Sportsman box seems to have a bunch of allen brand crap. Hunters Haul and HuntVault both seem pretty good...do any of yall get these boxes?

I do the Lucky Tackle Box subscriptions during the summer months for my sons in exchange for some chores around the house while they are off for the summer. I have been impressed with the items they receive in the boxes.

I’ve never quite understood why folks would do a subscription service like these. I’d rather just buy what I want and when I want it. Why would I pay for someone else to send me a mystery box of stuff even if it is hunting or fishing related?

Hard to buy what you haven't seen, or don't know about. At least in my case lol.
Also a lure that runs $20-$25 bucks, I might not buy it because of the price. When I pay $10 and 1 shows up, well, I kind like that.
Someone like you though, there's obviously no need .

I might end up going w/ sportsman box because its the only one you can get every 3 months which would be a nice surprise..i really dont want a box of stuff every month
