    Texas Game Wardens

    Texas Game Warden working with U.S. Coast Guard Sector / Air Station Corpus Christi, Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office just completed an Oyster Operation that netted 30 arrest, 93 citations and 239 warnings from checking 644 vessels and 51 dealers. Additionally, 533 sacks, roughly 58,300 pounds, of live oysters were returned to the bay.

      362 total infractions out of 644 vessels. Sounds like the whole system needs a revamping.

                      Ouch. We normally hit some oysters for several birthdays around Christmas. At one time we went thru 7 dozen and have slacked off. Looks like it's gonna drop more now
