Capt. Hook made final mistake

My oldest son got it done today. We’ve been trying to get this buck we named Capt. Hook for a couple weeks now. We knew where he called home, but he knew the area better than we did. He gave us the slip many times, but today he made a mistake. We were in the right place at the right time. The younger son spotted him, and older son made a great shot. The buck ended up being 6.5 or 7.5 years old. Anytime you can take an old buck it’s an accomplishment. I’m constantly reminded of the blessings I have with these boys.

I ain’t much on aging by jawbone, but even I can see that’s an old buck. Congrats all around !
