I agree and the thing about the yearling does is they have been feeding on feeders more and will draw the bucks into bow range. I watched a 140" 9 point a couple a weeks ago tending a doe about 100 yards away and wouldn't even look my direction with me rattling and grunting.
yes they will lead the big guy right to the feeder seen it happen lots of times
the 6 month old does that were borned in late may or june are prime bait for the big bucks
So because you have a few does and a coyote on cam the 2nd rut is here? Am I missing something here?
Negative. He typically posts a 'hunting' thread pretty simultaneously with when he posts wild political thread, like comparing the recent Florida shooting to Pearl Harbor. Read any of his threads and it's like he reads a Wikipedia page about hunting and then just vomits up a few sentences on TBH. Helps not get him banned since he is 'contributing'.
The young does are getting all giddy and running around like little spazzes right now. So far only little bucks are chasing them around. It is happening.

Dead on. But since he doesn't hunt he has no idea how to post a hunting thread.
Just some info:
Does reach sexual maturity at around 12 months and are breedable by 18 months
This years 6 month old does might get chased by young bucks... but not likely getting breed
I used to think the same until I studied a little bit.
Rule of thumb: doe fawns 6 months of age, 60 pounds will come into estrus and run the same estrus cycles as any other doe. So the healthier the doe fawns, the more chance they will breed their first year
