I have a 4 year old GSP who is not completely finished out but a good hunter with a strong bloodline. Since having kids I don't get to run him as often so he's naturally bored which is creating some bad habits. I'm looking for a good trainer near DFW to send him to after quail season ends that will both keep him in shape but also help me correct some of his bad habits. PM me if you're a trainer, but otherwise I'm looking for good recs to start making calls. Much appreciated!

Buck Henderson - Back Yard Training Kennels
He is the closest thing to a Dog Whisperer that you will ever find!!
My 1 1/2 YO GSP just finished 3 months with Buck and I am simply amazed how much he can teach a dog in <100 days. Amazed. Especially considering my dog is still a "puppy." He has her pointing, holding steady to shot, and even after the shot 90% of the time....
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Buck. And he is a Believer!! Strong christian values and morals. That's a plus in my book!

If you want someone to help them to stretch their run and find quail Tina at T&T kennels is awesome. I think they are in the Lubbock area now. TGR kennels in Wills Point has a good reputation but I don’t know them personally.
