I hope the best for her. Back injuries are not any fun, had one years ago, was not able to do anything for quite some time. Hospitals are not any fun either, an hour is not bad, but weeks in a hospital sucks. Hope you get well soon.

Texted Steph earlier. All I received it that she had the anterior fusion surgery today and with all the meds is pretty out of it “post op”. She was turning in for the night.

Hopefully when she wakes up she if feeling much better.

Just received another update. She’s a little more lucid now.
They went in through her abdomen and installed a cage around her disks. They then put 2 rods in her disks to hold them apart so the herniation will stop.
What was supposed to be a 2 hour surgery turned into a 5 hour surgery [emoji30]

Good news in that the surgeon said the procedure went better than expected. [emoji106] She’s in a great deal of pain still....but it’s mostly in her abdomen and not her back. Hopefully that’s a good sign that her back issues will be fixed.

Continued prayers for a pretty tough gal.

Glad they were able to find a solution praying for strength, comfort, and complete and supernatural healing for this woman. All this through our mighty Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
