Used to take a good bit longer than that in Dallas. They actually had some standards and lots of peeps applying 30 yrs. ago....not so much any more.

They had standards back then and they still hired you??!!

My Son is going to try to get into the certification program at Collage of the Mainland. He's 19 and thinks he'd like this career. Not trying to hijack your thread but if any old timers have some words of wisdom to pass along I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
