Milwaukee Driver Problem

I've had this driver for about 10 years and it's been a CHAMP. However, out of the blue it quit working. Battery is fully charged, but nada. Do any of you mechanical types knows if there might be a fix for me to try?

also looks like there is an awful lot of trash/rust/old shavings in those motor vents. (blow that out too)

Just watched a YouTube video on that. If my time is worth, say, $25/hour, I'm better off ordering on Amazon and having a brand new drill delivered here tomorrow. Add to that, there's only a 50/50 chance I'd get it put back together right.

That little m12 drills are only like 60 bucks new with out battery’s . Probably not worth the aggravation .

Just watched a YouTube video on that. If my time is worth, say, $25/hour, I'm better off ordering on Amazon and having a brand new drill delivered here tomorrow. Add to that, there's only a 50/50 chance I'd get it put back together right.

I'd be a zillionaire as much as I tinker and repair stuff. (But I'm just a tight wad German and I fix/rig/repair/etc all the time) And now that I'm retired, with more time, I'd be a multi-zillionaire.

Use Milwaukee's E-Service. Simplest thing in the world.
Mail it off, it comes back fixed or brand new.
They say they will charge for things out of warranty but I've been sending them tools for yrs, and they've never charged me once.
I've also never filled out a warranty card, or registered a tool.

Are you kidding me? Driver, charger 2 batteries and bag for $59?? That's the same price as one replacement battery (with a little bit more battery life) . Nuts. Problem solved.

I send off Milwaukee tools every week for repairs and warranty, you have been extremely lucky if they are warranting tools with no serial numbers or receipt. I can assure you that. I am a dealer.

This issue was brought up with the folks at Milwaukee regarding the E Service and we have been told that no serial number or receipt and there will be no warranty. Dealers should not be put a disadvantage regarding warranty or service.

Milwaukee cordless has a 5 year warranty and the batteries have 3 year warranty.
