Shooting one of the last Assassins Bowtech made now
Still have my first Mathews, it was one of the bows that put them on the road to popularity. Mathews Feather Max, I killed a lot of deer with it until I went to the Legacy.

Those Jennings bows were some of the best bows made, especially the Carbon Extreme.

First Vertical Bow to hit the market.. Bowtech Patriot. Loved that bow.. Later that same year Mathews released one also.

Footnote, shortly after getting this bow, Archery1st decided to drive his truck right over the riser and site.. . Looked like a boomerang after that. But bowtech took care of me.

Another vote for the good ol Mathews SB. Ive shot many new bows and none have made me put it down yet.

I’ve only owned 4 bows over the last 35 years so I’m definitely not an expert. A Brown Bear, decent bow for an early 80s model. Killed a few critters with it. Upgraded to a PSE Nova in the late 90s I guess. Killed a bunch of critters with it until it was stolen out of my garage and State Farm bought me a Mathews Legacy, great bow, I might still be shooting it but someone stole it from my deer lease. Bought a Bowtech Guardian used in 2008 and I’m still shooting it today. That said, in my limited experience, I’d rank the last two 1 and 1A.

My first compound and killed my first five archery deer with it.

Elite Hunter--smoothest draw cycle I've ever used.
