Exigent circumstances - "circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to believe that entry (or other relevant prompt action) was necessary to prevent physical harm to the officers or other persons, the destruction of relevant evidence, the escape of the suspect, or some other consequence improperly frustrating legitimate law enforcement efforts."

Sounds like if they think you have it inside, and believe you might be actively destroying the evidence, then they can make entry.

Just comply, offer some possum stew and say "Come on in, kick off your shoes, throw em in the corner, dont see why you cant stay a little longer" and say "Yall come back now, ya hear". Follow the rules and enjoy.

Every year there is at one GW complaint thread. I generally support the efforts of law enforcement officers. Even GWs. But there are too many stories and complaints to ignore the fact that too many of them are less than cordial in their interactions with people.

As long as it is based on probable cause. Suspecting it, having a hunch, thinks it may be reasonable, etc., is not exigent circumstances.
