    Ram 2500 differences 2013 to 2017

    Anyone have a 2017 Ram 6.7 ltr...Laramie pkg

I am down to a 2013 Megacab Laramie with 36K miles and a 2017 dual cab laramie with 44K miles
Both have identical packages , both within $1500 of each other

2013 Stock in perfect condition- all recall items done

2017- tuned, deleted, lifted.... in perfect condition ...

Anyone have a 2017 that can offer any input in performance differences or any issues they have had

Sounds like the 2013 is overpriced...

If you can confirm the '17 wasn't used as a hot rod and is indeed in great condition inside and out, it's a no-brainer IMO.

      Its only a 30 HP Tow tune....pulled a 8K Supra boat...

I think the 2013 is a little overpriced, but it is a Megacab and in Showroom condition with low miles...

If the 2017 was a megacab I would have bought it on sight

2013 was kind of an odd duck. First year using DEF, 3.42 gears and still had leaf spring rear suspension.

Seems I’ve read on the Cummins forum of the frame being weaker than the 2014 and up trucks as well.

I personally wouldn’t buy a lifted and tuned truck either.

I can see why some dont like lifts for trucks, but a tune...I cant see that. Diesel truck are incredibly detuned from the factory for emmision crap...
These trucks can get 800 hp or more without all that environmental BS on them..
