3D camo

Looking for a recommendation for 3D camo. Seems like I dont see it in stores much or guys talking about using it these days.

You talking about something like a ghillie suit?

Kind of but more so with the leaf cut pattern. I have an old one but the material makes a lot of noise when I move.

I have worn an ASAT leafy suit for many years and I really like it. When game is close I believe 3D makes a difference. I wear it over shorts and a t shirt when it is hot and over whatever layers I need to stay warm when it is cold

Have ghillie suits replaced this type of camo? Is that why you sont see it as much anymore?

The problem with ghillie suits is they are unbearably hot in warm/mild temps and they are quite bulky requiring modification on the sleeves for bowhunting. ASAT and other brand leafy suits have leaves attached to mesh. I wear a compression camo sleeve on my left arm to avoid string contact

I got an asat leafy suit and a first lite leafy jacket. I like them both.

Got my dad ASAT several years ago. The pattern just seems to work so well in all kinds of terrain

I dont think they have replaced leafy suits. I still see them in the stores. I have a ghillie and it is amazing.
However I do plan to get a leafy suit next year.
