I have been on quite a few.
just because they are fenced doesn't mean its a slam dunk.
They live there, and know where to hide. I just like to hunt, doesn't matter to me where. And like it has been said, enjoy the time with your dad.
I would give anything for one more day with mine....

Drove half way last night and plugged in the first hotel just south of Austin and found it fitting it was off Cabelas Drive. View from the the room, next step is Carrizo Springs!

This Wednesday dad and I are headed down to south Texas to go on our first high fence whitetail hunt. Never thought I would go on a high fence hunt as we have been on leases in north Texas over the last 10 years. Will be interesting and very different but I'm thankful and excited for the opportunity. I will post pictures when I can, hope to get a chance at a good one!

Word on the GS is HF hunts are a piece of cake with monster bucks behind every bush. Should be done hunting first hour of the hunt. Good luck even tho GS says you wont need it LMAOOOOO.

Seriously though have fun and I hope you get a nice buck.
