Last spot of blood was at a fence and ditch crossing. Cannot find anything across the fence or ditch. I am at a loss. I really do not think he is dead..

Time to move on. Set upon a hardwood ridge with bedding area east and west of me. Same place I killed my buck last year. Going to try this out this afternoon and tomorrow morning and see what's happening here

Same set as last night. 39* and a 4 mph NW breeze. Perfect setup. Have to get here early due to all the leaf clutter on the ground.
Hopeful for movement today. More to come
