Cee Vee, TX whitetail #’s ?

Anyone hunt near Cee Vee around the Pease River. How are the whitetail and mule deer numbers?

I’ve hunted Matador and know what it has to offer but I have any opportunity a few miles further north and we’re concerned it’s more mule deer than whitetail.

From my experience you should have really good whitetail along the Pease

I’m a couple miles north on the Pease. I’m seeing far more mules this year, which is a surprise.

Game warden said it’s 75/25 mule/whitetail. Seems odd. Based on Matadors whitetail #’s and the wt around Childress.
